Delhi: AAP government announces help of 10 lakhs drowned in water logging

Kundan Singh was coming from New Delhi railway station towards Connaught Place with his car. There was waterlogging near Minto Bridge. Kundan felt that his car would come out of the water, he started taking his car from the middle of the water.

Delhi government has announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the family of deceased Kundan Singh, who lost his life in waterlogging on Minto Bridge on Sunday.
There was heavy rain in the capital Delhi on Sunday morning. After the rain, many main routes of Delhi were flooded. On Minto Road, Connaught Place, there was waterlogging after the rain. There was so much water on the Minto Road Bridge that 60-year-old Kundan Singh, a Tempo (small elephant) driver was killed by drowning in it.
Kundan Singh's family gets 10 lakh
Kundan Singh was coming from New Delhi railway station towards Connaught Place with his car. There was waterlogging near Minto Bridge. Kundan thought that his car would come out of the water, he was taking his car from the middle of the water but the vehicle got stuck in water and Kundan died during this time. Now, after a day's political pull, the Delhi government has announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh to the family of Kundan Singh.
Politics on the death of young man
After this incident of Minto Road, there was a political fire in Delhi. On Sunday morning, North Delhi Mayor Jai Prakash, while inspecting Minto Road with the corporation officials, said, 'This type of incident will continue to happen in Delhi till the Kejriwal government leaves an irresponsible attitude. The Chief Minister should take responsibility for this and should provide assistance to the relatives of the deceased. The government should ensure that such an incident does not happen again.
Cleaning of drains is the responsibility of MCD
The Aam Aadmi Party blamed the BJP-ruled MCD for the waterlogging. On BJP's accusation of death of a person due to waterlogging in Minto Bridge and BJP for not cleaning drains in Delhi, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that BJP has to make allegations day and night in Delhi as they do not have work. Cleaning of drains is the responsibility of MCD, PWD and Jal Board. There was no idea it would rain suddenly
Take care during waterlogging
Sanjay Singh said that Kundan Singh went with a small elephant amidst the waterlogging, and lost his life. There is a need to correct the mistakes that have been made by the Delhi government in this, and the mistakes made by the MCD.
AAP MP said that the incident of death is tragic. If an incident like waterlogging occurs again, caution is needed during this time, so do not leave the car during the waterlogging.
